It’s been a minute…

Or approximately 1,095 Days or 26,280 Hours or 1,576,800 Minutes, or if you really want to break it down, 94,608,000 Seconds…

In that time a lot of life has happened for all of us. I won’t go into details, that would be an entire book on it’s own. But I will let you know, there has been a lot of writing, editing, and other publishing tasks going on during that time.

Between The Beats was published, pick up a copy here if you haven’t already. And if you would be so kind, once you do read it, please leave a review. Even if it’s just a quick, loved it, great book, or even if you hated it, whatever you think of it, reviews help the algorithm, which in turn helps me. I hate that part of this job is appeasing the computer overlords for things like that. But I guess that’s where we are.

It would also seem that I lost all of my newsletter subscribers. So if you had subscribed in the past and wondered why you haven’t heard from me, that’s why. I’m trying to get a new one set up, but running into technical difficulties that I just don’t have the brain capacity to deal with at the moment. Eventually I’ll get it added back. For now, stay tuned here for updates on the progress of the next two books.

Yes, there are two more books coming. Book 2, set in 1960s Las Vegas, is the story of a young guy chasing his dreams of musical stardom. He finds himself stuck somewhere he didn’t intend, knowing no one, questioning all the decisions that led him here. Add to the intrigue showgirls, gambling, the mob, and more.. and well you’ll just have to wait to read more.

Book 3 is still in the early stages, no good description as of yet. I can tell you we’ll be returning to New Orleans, and you may recognize some names and places from Between The Beats and even from book 2. I have title ideas in mind for both of the new books, but for now they are only ideas and I don’t want to spoil the surprise for you.

So that’s the quick update. Thanks for taking time to read. I hope you continue to follow along on this crazy journey.
